Arab-Americans say new laws will target them

In the US, Arab-Americans have expressed concern over new FBI counter-terrorism powers they say might end up being used to target innocent US citizens.
In a last-minute rule change before vacating the Oval Office, President George Bush has amended US Department of Justice guidelines to allow agents to interview people without identifying who they are and to spy on suspects without clear evidence of wrongdoing.
Ethnic Arab citizens in the US have expressed concerns that racial profiling, used to spy on Muslims who have no connection to terrorism, will be an intolerable invasion of privacy.
The FBI has said it needs the changes as the old laws have become outdated with the current terrorist threats.
An FBI statement has noted the rules state any new intelligence techniques must be applied in a reasonable manner that respects "liberty and privacy."

Islam is not compatible with western society. I really believe that Christianity will continue to clash with Islam and its anti Jewish rehtoric. Muslims in the USA will have to make the choice between their religion and their country.
We have to make decisions to protect ourselves and this country. If that offends Muslims then it is regrettable.
